Golden Milk Latte

Golden Milk Latte (Reduce inflammation with spices)

Personally, I prefer this latte made with cardamom rather than ginger, but ginger is more traditional in Ayurveda healing. Find many recipes like this in my book.

Method:

In a small pot, place all the ingredients, including plant based milk. Cook on low to medium heat until it comes to a frothy stage, full boil. Watch because it will boil over very quickly. Serve it immediately and top with a slight sprinkle of extra Ceylon cinnamon.

If you decide to use the protein, add it to your cup and stir the hot milk into it. Do not boil the protein mix; the nutrients are sensitive to heat.

Ingredients

Cononut or almond milk, unsweetened, 1 cup (6 oz.)

Turmeric, ground, ½ tsp.

Ceylon cinnamon, ground,½ tsp.

Ginger or cardamom, ground,⅛ tsp.

Paleo protein, optional, 1 tbsp. (optional).

Stevia liquid, 2–3 drop

Optional lemon or lime peel or a splash of these fruits.
